While we’re your go-to shop for just about any hydraulic cylinder repair—big or small—we like to be upfront: We don’t do hoses or pumps. Think of us as the “cylinder specialists.” If it extends, retracts, and lifts heavy things—we’re all over it. If it squirts, sprays, or spins… that’s not our lane (but we’ll gladly point you to someone who does).
When you bring your cylinder to Al & Sons Hydraulics, our team will perform a full teardown and diagnostic evaluation to identify the issue. After the assessment, we’ll contact you with a detailed quote that includes the repair cost and estimated turnaround time. If you decide to move forward, the $160 diagnostic fee will be applied to the total repair cost. If not, the fee simply covers the teardown and evaluation.
Cylinder valves are preset to pressure according to OEM equipment specifications. For this reason, we do not offer valve rebuilding services. On a case-by-case basis, when OEM specifications are available, we might be able to provide full-valve replacement to maintain proper performance and reliability. Please call us to discuss this possibility.
